Job Title: Records to Report (R2R) Analyst
 

Job Description:
 

Overview:  We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Records to Report (R2R) Analyst to join our team. The R2R Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
 

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of recording financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
  •  Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  •  Perform periodic reconciliations of financial data to ensure consistency and reliability.
  1. Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Generate and distribute timely and accurate financial reports to internal stakeholders.
  •  Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes.
  1. Compliance and Audit Support:
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the R2R cycle.
  • Implement best practices to streamline and enhance the efficiency of financial processes.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Finance, Tax, and Compliance, to ensure seamless information flow and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Work closely with business partners to understand their reporting needs and provide relevant financial information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an R2R Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
