Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Records to Report (R2R) Analyst to join our team. The R2R Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of recording financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform periodic reconciliations of financial data to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Generate and distribute timely and accurate financial reports to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes.
- Compliance and Audit Support:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the R2R cycle.
- Implement best practices to streamline and enhance the efficiency of financial processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, including Finance, Tax, and Compliance, to ensure seamless information flow and resolve any discrepancies.
- Work closely with business partners to understand their reporting needs and provide relevant financial information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an R2R Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
