Position Overview:
As a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst (FPNA), you will play a crucial role in supporting our B2C operations by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and support decision-making processes. This position reports directly to the FPNA Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability metrics, to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular financial reports and dashboards to key stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable insights for management decision-making.
- Variance Analysis: Monitor actual financial performance against budget and forecast, investigating and explaining variances to identify underlying drivers and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product Development, to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support special projects, investment decisions, and business cases as required.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance financial planning and analysis processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and relevance of financial reporting and insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a B2C environment. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on driving business results.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and familiarity with B2C industry trends and metrics is a plus.
